Linton Tweeds are a textile mill in Carlisle, UK; manufacturer of woven, textured, novelty fabrics for top of the range womenswear. 

Their experienced craftsmen and women use both very old handlooms and modern fast-working, computerised machines to produce their most amazing, unusual and intricate yarns some of which go to make the beautiful fabrics for the fashion couture houses such as Chanel in Paris, Balmain, William Hartnell, London and Bruce Oldfield.
